Abu Dhabi, UAE – Bord Eau lives up to its title of being the most authentic French restaurant in the capital with the launch of its special menu for early diners.
Literally translating to “like at home”, the new Comme a La Maison menu will be available from 15 February 2019 and features three courses of French comfort food. Priced at AED469 for two persons, the menu includes two glasses of grape per person. Served daily, these dishes will be available between 6:30 and 11 p.m.
To give fans of French cuisine the opportunity to experience new flavours on each visit, the chefs will change the Comme a La Maison menu twice a month.
This inaugural menu kicks off with an amuse-bouche, selections of creamy Red Pumpkin Soup with Cauliflower Carpaccio and fresh Tuna Tartare with Kumquat, Zucchini Puree and Espelette Chilli. For mains, guests can opt for the Beef Tenderloin with Mixed Seasonal Vegetables or local Sea Bream served with Cauliflower Mash, Gnocchi and Sundried Tomatoes.
Completing the meal as the French would is a Platter of Cheese with Exotic Chutney and Walnut Bread. Those looking for a sweet ending to the dining experience can go for the classic Vanilla Crème Brûlée.
“Besides its haute cuisine, France is also popular for its hot, tempting, overflowing plates of French traditional food. With our Comme a La Maison menu, we want our guests to experience dining as you would in French homes,” said Bord Eau Head Chef Slim Ben Chahla. “The key to comfort food is to keep it simple and accessible. That’s why we have carefully chosen just six classic dishes all bursting with flavours from locally sourced ingredients.”
Bord Eau is known for its unique approach to cooking traditional recipes and presenting them with a contemporary twist. The much-loved French restaurant is open six nights a week, from Sunday to Friday, for dinner service from 6:30 until 11:30 p.m.
