With the Wellness Day at our hotel, Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi joins the nation’s efforts to reduce the risk of health complications in the people of the UAE. The aim is to build awareness, especially with the younger generation, through a variety of free fitness sessions.

Starting from 8.30am, the Wellness Day kicks off with a Qi Gong class at the Beach Plaza, which is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation. This is followed by a 60-minute yoga class from 10.30am, which is suitable for all levels. The practice will help build strength through stretching, while concentrating on alignment and breathing.

A Cardio Combat class will then be held at the Health Club Studio at 11.30am.
