Crowne Plaza Dubai is delighted to announce the appointment of Christophe Prud'Homme as Executive Head Chef of the landmark property on Sheikh Zayed Road.
The French-born chef arrived in Dubai in 2007 with the assignment of leading the culinary department of Al Bustan Rotana. He was then promoted to the position of Area Culinary Director for all seven Roda properties in Dubai.
In his new role at Crowne Plaza Dubai, Chef Prud'Homme is responsible for the operational and strategic development of eleven different restaurants and cafes, including meat lovers favourite Chamas Churrascaria, Al Tannour, offering traditional Lebanese cuisine, and Sakura Japanese restaurant.
Commenting on the appointment, Mrad ElKhoury, General Manager, said: “Christophe will help us in elevating the hotel’s food and beverage portfolio and ensure that the culinary team positions our diverse restaurants and bars as leading dining spots in Dubai.”
Chef Prud'Homme has 30 years of hospitality industry experience. His culinary career was refined as a head pastry chef at the three-Michelin-starred Le Pre Catalan Lenôtre in Paris, and he has since worked at five-star and luxury hotels around the world, including The Dorchester and the Four Seasons in London.
