Two new executive appointments at Amwaj Rotana, Dubai

AMWAJ ROTANA, DUBAI APPOINTS NEW  DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS AND DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Dubai, 17 June 2019 –

 Deema Sartawi, (Right) has been appointed as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Amwaj Rotana, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai.

 Not a stranger to the Rotana brand, Deema joined Rotana in 2002 and has held various executive positions including the Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications at Al Bustan and Al Murooj Rotana in Dubai, task force to assist the pre-opening team of Burgu Arjaan and Tango Arjaan by Rotana in Istanbul, Turkey during the opening phase for six months as well as Director of Marketing and Communications at Media Rotana, Dubai. Her recently held position was as the Director of Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana, where she actively participated in the pre-opening development of the two hotels at Dubai Creek.

Deema brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the Marketing field and will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies as well as promoting brand awareness through effective marketing campaigns and public relations.

 

Pierre Basmadjian (Left) has also joined the Amwaj Rotana team as the Director of Human Resources.

 Prior to his appointment, Basmadjian held various executive positions in United Arab Emirates, including Corporate Director of Human Resources at the Rotana Corporate Office and pre-opening Human Resources Director of the Novotel and Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan and Yas Island Rotana & Centro Yas Island.

 An Armenian national, Basmadjian, whose experience spans over 15 years in the hospitality industry, will be responsible for driving the property’s human resources strategy and day to day operations.
