Alejandro Andrade has joined the resort as Area General Manager, bringing 40 years of hospitality experience to the role. A Chicago native who now calls Puerto Vallarta home, Andrade most recently served as Area Managing Director in Cancún and previously held the role of Vice President of Operations Field for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection.

Andrade will lead the resort and its team of 714 associates as Marriott Puerto Vallarta enters this next chapter, with the October 19 debut introducing 433 updated guestrooms and suites, a refreshed oceanfront infinity pool and kids’ splash park, new adults-only spaces including 20 swim-up rooms and a dedicated pool with a swim-up bar, completely transformed 9,000-square-foot indoor meeting spaces, new beachfront event spaces and reimagined culinary offerings.
