This accolade was presented during a prestigious gala ceremony held on June 7 at the JW Marriott Dubai Marina, hosted by Hozpitality Group. Manoj Abraham Mathew from Dubai Media Group presented the award alongside Raj Bhatt, CEO of Hozpitality Group.

Smalley's career reflects over a decade of exemplary leadership and culinary innovation within the hospitality industry. As Executive Chef at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and Hilton Dubai The Walk, Smalley oversees the operations of ten food and beverage venues, demonstrating his exceptional ability to lead and inspire teams while delivering outstanding dining experiences. His role involves not only the management of diverse culinary operations but also the development and implementation of creative and innovative food concepts that align with the Hilton brand's high standards.

Prior to his current position, Smalley served as Executive Sous Chef at Atlantis The Palm, where he played a crucial role in elevating the dining experiences at one of Dubai's most iconic resorts. His expertise in culinary operations and staff management was further demonstrated during his tenure as Group Executive Chef at Damac, where he was responsible for overseeing multiple culinary outlets and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Smalley's journey in the culinary world began with his role as Executive Sous Chef at Madinat Jumeirah, where he spent over five years honing his skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. His experience at Madinat Jumeirah provided him with a solid foundation in managing high-volume kitchens and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
