CEA 2024: Gold Award for Executive Chef of the Year – Hotel

Mohamad Chabchoul, the Executive Chef at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai, has been honored with the prestigious gold award for Executive Chef of the Year - Hotel at the 7th Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024. The esteemed accolade was presented during a grand gala ceremony held on June 7 at the JW Marriott Dubai Marina, organized by Hozpitality Group. Bassam Bousaleh and Rami Bousaleh from US Beef alongside Raj Bhatt, CEO of Hozpitality Group, were honored to present the award.

Chef Chabchoul's career spans over 17 years, marked by significant local and international culinary achievements. His remarkable journey reflects a deep commitment to culinary excellence, innovative food and beverage concepts, and exceptional management skills.

At Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai, Chabchoul oversees various culinary operations, including 12 food and beverage outlets, 941 room keys, and 435 apartments. His role involves not just the management of daily kitchen operations but also the strategic development of menus and culinary concepts that cater to a diverse clientele.

Before his current role, Chabchoul served as Executive Chef at Grand Millennium Business Bay, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the hotel's culinary offerings from the ground up during its pre-opening phase. His leadership at BinHendi Enterprises further exemplified his expertise in developing and managing high-quality food services.

Chef Chabchoul also contributed to the success of Fauchon Paris in the Middle East as Executive Chef for the region, where he was instrumental in managing catering segments, developing operational policies, and supporting franchisee openings. His tenure at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) as chef de cuisine cluster saw him manage multiple properties, ensure adherence to service standards, and promote health and safety in the kitchen.

Chabchoul's educational background, which includes hotel management studies from Damascus University, provided a strong foundation for his extensive career in the culinary arts. His passion for creating exquisite food offerings and his dedication to staff training and development have solidified his reputation as a leading figure in the hospitality industry.
