CEA 2024: Gold Award for Butcher Chef of the Year

Shahrukh Qureshi, Butchery Chef at Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Hotel & Convention Centre Dubai, was honored with the prestigious gold award for Butcher Chef of the Year at the 7th Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024.

The gala event, organized by Hozpitality Group, occurred on June 7th at JW Marriott Dubai Marina. Jeyaram Subramanian from Taaza Quality Foods LLC presented the award.

 

Shahrukh Qureshi brings a wealth of experience to his current role, having served as a Butchery Chef at Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Hotel & Convention Centre Dubai since June 2022. His dedication and skill in butchery have significantly contributed to the hotel's culinary excellence.

 

Before joining Mövenpick, Shahrukh spent nearly 12 years as a Butchery Chef at Ramada Hotel and Suites, from October 2012 to June 2024. His extensive tenure there highlights his consistent performance and commitment to the craft. Prior to this, he worked as a Butchery Chef at Arabian Courtyard Hotel and Spa in Bur Dubai from February 2011 to October 2012. Shahrukh completed his education at Soudabad School in Karachi, where he studied from 1987 to 1992.

 

The Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024 celebrated individual achievements and recognized the collaborative efforts of industry partners and sponsors.
