Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort has appointed Sajeev Vasudevan as the Director of Sales. In his exciting new role, Sajeev will be responsible for the overall positioning of the hotel, developing sales strategies to support business objectives across all sales market segments, and ensuring the hotel continues to deliver a high level of customer service.
With over 10 years of expertise in the field of Sales Management, Sajeev brings with him a solid understanding of the luxury hospitality industry. With his creative flair and a passion for innovation, Sajeev will continue to drive forward Anantara’s philosophy of delivering unparalleled experiences for its guests.
Sajeev most recently held the position of Director of Sales at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai having worked previously at Ritz Carlton DIFC as Associate Director of Business Development on the pre-opening team, and then as Director of Sales following a well earned promotion. Sajeev also worked at Raffles Dubai from 2008-2010 where he was promoted from Sales Manager to Senior Sales Manager.
Sajeev Vasudevan studied Hotel Management and graduated from Mumbai University in India as a Bachelor of Commerce. He began his career in the hospitality industry in 2005 at Starwood Hotels working as a Front Office Supervisor, and then progressed to Groups and Incentive Executive in 2006 at Grosvenor House and Le Royal Meridien hotels in Dubai.
