Chef Zhao Bo started his journey with Crown Plaza Beijing International Airport hotel as a Commis in 2012. At a very young age, he started drawing inspiration fromChinese food and traditions appreciating the art of cooking and wanted to pursue a career in the field.
Over the years he's worked with many well-known hospitality groups including Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-la, Crown Plaza and now at Marriott International. Durng his time at Mandarin Oriental hotel, he was responsible in developing northern Chinese Food menu and train other chefs while sharing his experience and knowledge which is one of his passions.
His passion to constantly innovate has lead him to mastering the culinary craft over the years. He is well known for his creativity in the preparation of Chinese delicacies drawn from tradition and adds a modern perspective to his dishes. Today, he joins as a Chinese Specialty Chef at the Peacock restaurant, a very well-known restaurant at Sheraton JBR, where he will be creating signature dishes for the restaurants unique menu.
Chef Zhao is proud to launch a brand new menu at the Peacock restaurant. Indulge in his speciality dishes: Crunchy Rock Lobster, Wok Fried Sliced Lamb Leg with Scallions, Crispy Calamari Tossed in Garlic and Red Chili and Black Beans Seafood Platter to name a few. Menu at The Peacock is delicately balanced with Chef Zhao's signature dishes and new creations to cater to every palate.
