Worldwide Earth Hour Movement Initiative at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai

Demonstrating its commitment to save and protect the environment.

Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai joined the Earth Hour celebrations on 27th March 2021 by turning off all exterior signage lighting, diming and turning off non-essential interior lighting and using candlelight in appropriate public areas such as restaurants and bars from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM to illuminate a powerful message "We Care About Future of Our Planet". The management also encouraged the guests to participate by doing the same in their rooms.

Commenting on the initiatives, Mr. Simon Moore, General Manager of Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai said, "It's a great privilege for us to support Earth Hour as it testifies our commitment to energy management. Protecting nature is one of our mission as a Green-Key hotel. Preserving the environment is a responsibility and we showed that despite the current situation, we shall use this occasion to maximize the vision of protecting the planet."

Earth Hour is now one of the world's largest grassroots movements for the environment. Held every year on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour engages millions of people in more than 180 countries and territories, switching off the lights to show support for our planet.
