'Concierge of Love' at Bistro Chic by La Serre

Couples are invited to an evening of romance at Bistro Chic by La Serres 'Concierge of Love' on February 14, where a three-course menu including a glass of Champagne on arrival, a bottle of either white, red or rose wine, plus tea and coffee will be available for AED950 per couple. Amuse bouche of watermelon feta will begin the special occasion dinner, followed of a choice of staters including Scottish salmon carpaccio with Oscietra caviar black truffle, or burrata with heirloom tomato, basilandaged balsamic. Indulgent mains ensue, with options of black angus tenderloin with fondant potato Bordelaise sauce, or tagliatelle with black winter truffle. A show-stopping diamond-inspired dessertand lychee brings the meal to a close. A take-home gift can also be expected for the couple. Serving from 7pm onwards.

'Friend Zone' at Distillery Gastropub

For those not feeling the Valentine's Day vibes, Distillery invites guests to its anti-Valentine's 'Friend Zone' dinner on February 14. Taking place from 8pm 10pm, the gastropub will serve up unlimited sharing plates and house beverages for AED169 per person, AED299 per couple, or AED799 per group of six people. From the menu, diners can enjoy tuna tartare with soy, ginger and lime, beef brisket or crispy chicken poutine with peppercorn gravy, chicken wings in various flavours including hickory dickory BBQ, Asian sensation and bling of fire buffalo, jalapeno popper bites, popcorn prawns, beetrootand tomato carpaccio, and more.
