Chef Gregory Goulot Joins Alila Jabal Akhdar

Leading the culinary and restaurant teams at Alila Jabal Akhdar, in the Sultanate of Oman

Alila Jabal Akhdar announced today that Gregory Goulot, a French national, was named Chef and Beverage Director. Gregory Goulot is passionate about the hospitality industry and a seasoned culinary artist. In his new role, Gregory Goulot will lead both the culinary and Food and Beverage service teams at Alila Jabal Akhdar, including award-winning Juniper restaurant and The Rose Lounge.

Gregory Goulot started his career at an emblematic hotel on the Costa del Sol, under the orders of Chef Jol Garault. Since then, he has cooked for internationally renowned restaurants such as Beaulieu sur mer (Beaulieu Reserve Hotel, with two Michelin stars), Lasserre (two Michelin stars), Le Tastevin (two Michelin stars) and Jacques Chibois's Bastide Saint Antoine (two Michelin stars). When Gregory Goulot landed in Spain, a country of great culinary wealth and gastronomic recognition, it was with Ferran Adria, considered one of the best chefs in the world, with whom he worked at El Bulli Catering.

Most recently Gregory Goulot served as the Executive Chef in charge of Food and Beverage at the prestigious Park Hyatt Mallorca in Spain, since March 2018, which encompassed 4 restaurants, one of which was awarded one star Michelin.
