Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 27 July 2020: The surprises keep coming, as Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) launches an exciting campaign to give residents and visitors the chance to experience the world-class hospitality that Dubai is famous for. Rediscover Dubai involves over 100 of the city’s best hotels and resorts offering free nights, redeemable from September to December, upon a minimum spend at some of the leading malls and attractions this summer.
Until 31 August, shoppers who spend more than AED500 a day at select locations will receive a Rediscover Dubai hotel voucher entitling them to three nights for the price of two, or five nights for the price of three, on stays from 1 September to 31 December at participating hotels. If shoppers spend AED1,000 they will receive two vouchers, AED1,500 they will receive three vouchers, and so on. With over 100,000 vouchers to be distributed throughout the DSS period – a huge portion of residents and visitors will get access to enjoy the incredible getaway destinations across the city. It’s really that simple!
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said: “The Rediscover Dubai campaign was created to drive footfall to the city’s hotels, malls and attractions from now until the end of the year. We received a tremendous response from our hotel, retail and leisure partners who have come together with the single goal of reviving Dubai’s tourism economy. The program is a great pull for residents and overseas visitors to experience Dubai’s exceptional hotels during what is usually the busiest period for the industry. We are committed to supporting the local tourism sector and it is our hope that Rediscover Dubai generates great demand and enjoyment of the city’s hotels to ensure their full recovery by the close of this year.”
The participating malls and attractions include At the Top, Burj Khalifa, Dragon Mart, Discovery Gardens Pavilion, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink, The Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, E-Kart Zabeel, Festival Plaza, Ibn Battuta, Jumeirah Park Pavilion, KidZania Dubai, La Perle, Mercato Mall, Oasis Mall, Nakheel Mall, The Point, Reel Cinemas and VR Park.
Upon visiting and spending at these amazing retail and leisure destinations across the city, shoppers need to visit the customer service counters on the same day and present one receipt or multiple receipts from one mall or attraction totalling AED500 to avail their voucher.
