Dubai, UAE, March 10th, 2020: Pots, Pans & Boards, the popular British eatery located at the stunning The Beach, JBR is delighted to invite Dubai’s gourmands for a one-night only culinary journey hosted by one of the UK’s most acclaimed and inspirational British chefs, Tom Aikens.
On Tuesday, March 17th, Dubai’s discerning diners will experience a thoughtfully created six-course menu crafted by the Michelin-star chef, delving into classic British delicacies and beyond. Inspired by exquisite seasonal flavours and a celebration for the love of food, Tom Aikens will spend the intimate evening with guests sharing his insights and ethos behind the lavish menu.
To begin, starters bring to the table an immaculately prepared Steak Tartare, crispy shallots, house tartare sauce and a quail egg yolk and from the sea, a Lobster Bisque Shooter topped with a poached tiger-prawn. Refresh the palate before the main course with the Parsley Crumbed Goat Cheese, with beetroot purée, pickled melon & beetroot and beet dressing.
Pan Seared Sea Bass
Mains begin with a quintessential classic, Pan Seared Sea Bass plates polenta with black olive, saffron butter sauce and creamy home-made mash. A signature by Tom, impeccably slow cooked Braised Short Ribs, truffle celeriac purée, bone marrow and non-alcoholic red wine jus. For a sweet finish, guests can indulge in the Raspberry & Mango Cheesecake topped with raspberry sorbet, completing the meal with a flawless finish.
