Appointment Of A New General Manager At Haven Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

CANCUN - January, 2020 - Haven Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa is pleased to announce that Fernando Sanchez has been appointed as the hotel’s new General Manager as of December 15, 2019. With more than 20 years of hotel management and hospitality experience throughout Mexico’s top destinations, such as Cozumel, Riviera Maya and Cancun, Fernando is an expert in the region and a demonstrated leader. In this new role, the industry veteran will be responsible for leading Haven’s guest experience and brand standards, all day-to-day operations and upcoming milestones like the opening of the resort’s state-of-the-art Convention Center in Fall 2020.

Prior to joining the Haven team, Fernando served as the General Manager of the 582-room Iberostar Selection Cancun Golf & Spa for 8 years where he led the resort’s key efforts, including the opening and integration of the adults-only Coral Level property. Fernando has also held management positions for numerous Iberostar properties, including: Iberostar Tucan, Quetzal, Paraiso Mar & Beach and Iberostar Cozumel.
