Two Seasons Hotel Dubai Wins Hozpitality Chef Excellence Award 2019

Chef Samantha Kekulandara won the Award of Lifetime Achievement

Two Seasons Hotel & Apartments Dubai is proud to announce that Chef Samantha Kekulandara received the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Year from the Hozpitality Excellence Award 2019.

The 2nd “Hozpitality Chef Excellence Awards” ceremony took place on Wednesday, 12th June 2019 at Rixos Premium Dubai. The award aimed to recognize top industry culinary Chefs. The event was supported by the Emirates Culinary Guild and ICCA Dubai. The Judges for the Awards were prominent hospitality professionals, and these champions were invaluable in judging the Young Chefs fairly.

The Two Seasons Hotel Head F&B Artist has won one of the most valuable title of the ceremony. The Chef is known for his amazing carvings and food sculptures mostly displayed in La Terrasse Restaurant of the hotel.

Freddy Farid, Managing Director of Two Seasons Hotel Company FZ LLC, expressed his happiness over the victory of Chef Samantha and congratulated him for his amazing achievement. “We appreciate the recognition that has been given to Chef Samantha and we thank our guests and judges for their great support and appreciate all the efforts and hard work by him and our team.”

 “After winning the Silver medal during the last year ceremony I am proud to achieve my goal of winning the gold medal this year. I will be participating with the same enthusiasm next year to be awarded for my work in more categories. I would also like to thank my colleagues and the management of the Two Seasons Hotel for their fantastic support!” the Chef said.

He was also awarded with 5 gold medals during the Culinary World Cup of 2018 in Luxembourg, and 3 silver medal during the Culinary Olympic in Germany in 2016 along with more than 30 gold medals in UAE past years. It is worth mentioning that the Chef did one for 3 years consecutively from 2015 the Best Kitchen Artist during the SIAL Culinary Competition in Abu Dhabi organized by Emirates Culinary Guild.

This list is added to the many awards Two Seasons Hotel has won, including Best 4 Star Hotel Of The Year and many others.
