Faena Hotel Miami Beach, announces the appointment of Michael Romei as Chef Concierge for the hotel. Romei brings with him a wealth of experience to his new role at Faena Hotel Miami Beach, where he will oversee all concierge services and provide the highest standard of customer service, ensuring an unparalleled experience for the hotel’s guests.
Romei joins Faena Hotel Miami Beach with over twenty-five years of concierge experience, most recently serving as the Chef Concierge of The Waldorf Astoria and Waldorf Towers in New York, New York. Prior to this, Romei held the position of Chef Concierge for Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. Romei is also the former General Secretary of the prestigious international organization Les Clefs D'Or and served on their International Executive Committee for ten years. Romei received a BA from Manhattanville College and a MA in International Studies from New York University, where he served as a faculty member of the Continuing Education Hospitality Program. Additionally, Romei is founder of the “Creating Service Magic” Concierge-Customer Service Training Seminar, a founding President of the Southern Florida Concierge Association, as well as an Honorary Member of Les Clefs d’Or UICH International.
